Come al solito sono stata un po' indaffarata ma ora finalmente ho un pò più di tempo e riesco a mostrarvi qualche lavoretto.

Qualche giorno fa due miei carissimi amici hanno fatto il compleanno e...cosa regalare?? Ovviamente un mio piccolo lavoretto!!!

After a busy days now I have some free time and I can share with you two little minis.

Some days ago was the birthday of two of my good friends and..what can I gift to??? One of my minis, of course!!!!

Per Elena ho fatto questo piccolo quadretto dove sono esposte delle piccole borse, tipo negozio:

For Elena I did this little scene where are show some little bags, like a shop.

The little pillow you see are one of the great pillows embroid by Rosanna ( la stanza di giuggiola).

Per Gianni, invece, sono andata sul sicuro...vista la sua passione per le moto (compagno degno di mio marito) ho cercato di ricreare un piccolo box, con tanto di banco di lavoro bello sporco di grasso e pezzi di moto qua e là.

For Gianni I play safe...for his passion for motorbike ( like my husband) I tried to do a little garage, with a workbench dirty of grease and parts of bike everywhere.

Sono molto contenta perchè sono piaciuti molto!!

ALTRI OGGETTI PER LA MANSARDA

Da qualche giorno mi è tornata la smania di lavorare il fimo e sto facendo dei lavoretti che mi soddisfano tanto...ma non è ancora il momento di mostrarveli!

Some days ago I started again to work fimo and I have made some minis that I like very much...but it's not time to show you results!

Invece vi mostro gli ultimi oggetti che andranno ad arredare la mansarda:

Il baule, che andrà vicino alla poltrona, con tanto di coperta per le fredde sere d'inverno...

Il tavolino dove servirò una fetta di torta e un bel thè caldo....

Questo orecchino, che appeso al muro trovo che dia un sapore etico ( e poi i pendenti non vi ricordano qualcosa???ebbene si, con quelli dell'altro ho fatto le maniglie del mobiletto azzurro!!!!)

ECCOMI ANCORA....

Rieccomi ancora, finalmente con più tempo.

Le ferie sono finite..sigh...e con l'apertura domani dell'asilo di Irene direi che si ricomincia proprio la routine.

Direi che il bilancio è positivo, come auspicava Eva, anche se l'evento brutto a cui mi riferivo purtroppo coinvolge uno dei miei gatti, quello grigio di nome Fred.

Ho dovuto operarlo d'urgenza perchè in pochi giorni gli è cresciuta una massa che poi si è purtroppo rivelata un fibrosarcoma, tumore maligno molto invasivo e con una prognosi infausta per la maggior parte dei casi.

Ora Fred sta bene, segue la sua cura molto diligentemente e....si aspetta il futuro, che so per certo che sarà duro e triste, ma non voglio pensare a questo perchè vi assicuro per me è veramente doloroso e so che chi ama gli animali e vive con loro sa di cosa parlo. Poichè l'intervento lo abbiamo dovuto fare due giorni prime di partire per le ferie e non è stato un intervento semplice, ho preferito portarlo con noi al mare e devo dire che è stato un ottimo compagno di ferie e forse non ci siamo mai fatti cosi' tante coccole come in quei dieci giorni!!

Fnally with more time. Holidays are finished..sigh...and with the opening tomorrow of the nursery - school of Irene I must say that it is restarted really the routine.

I can say that the budget is positive, as Eva wished, even if the ugly event to which I reported me unfortunately involves one of my cats, that grey named Fred.

I have had to operate him of urgency because in few days a big mass was borned on him....and it was a fibrosarcoma, a malignant tumor very invasive and with a bad prognosis for the greatest part of the cases.

The operation was two days first to depart for holidays and it was not simple for him so I have preferred to bring him with us to the sea and I must say that he was a great fellow traveller.

Now Fred is well, he follows his care and....i'm waiting for the future but I know it will be hard and sad, but I don't want to think about this because I assure you for me it is really painful and I know that who loves the animals and live with them knows what I'm speaking about......

Ma ora cambiamo discorso e parliamo di lavoretti....

stasera vi voglio mostrare quello che ha fatto Irene durante un pomeriggio di pioggia...io ovviamente lo trovo bellissimo e vi assicuro che è quasi tutta farina del suo sacco, io l'ho solo aiutata un pò a tagliare la stoffa e il nastro...Tesoro di mamma!!!!

But now I must change subjet and talk about little job....

tonight I want to show you one made by Irene during a raining afternoon....for me is really fantastic, of course, but I assure you that she did everything by herself, I had only cutter the fabric and the ribbon......

BEADS, BEADS...AND MORE!

Sono veramente molto contenta pechè la mia piccola rb sta venendo molto bene.

In questi giorni ho lavorato molto e ora posso mostrare qualche risultato.

Come sapete la mia amica ama molto le cose etniche e il mio intento è di creare una rb romantica ma con qualche oggetto etnico che personalizzi la scena.

I'm very happy.....my little roombox is going on very well.

In this days I had worked hard and now I can show some results. As you know the friend who will recived this rb likes also etnic stuff, so my intent is do a little romantic and etnic rb!!

In un bellissimo mercato ho trovato varie perle che fanno al caso mio:

Ma il pezzo forte, quello che mi da tanta soddisfazione e questo piccolo mobile buffet, che da insignificante e spoglio e diventato il centro della scena...

But the best one is this little piece of forniture (buffet); It was really insignificant but now is the centre of the attic....

ARREDAMENTO PER LA MANSARDA...

Finalmente è pronta la piccola panca per la mia mansarda.
Manca ancora il cuscino che andrà sopra la seduta ma conto di finirlo nei prossimi giorni.

Finally is ready my little bench for the attic.
The pillow for the sit is going to be finish in the next days.


Metterò anche questa poltroncina, rifarò la brocca perchè quella che si vede non è venuta tanto bene.
La perla ovale la userò come vaso per i fiori. il grosso bottone di metallo come vassoio e infine le altre due perle le userò come base per una lampada da tavolo.
Come quindi avrete notato non sarà più una camera da letto ma un piccolo soggiorno.

I'll use also this nice armchair and I'll do again the jug because this is not good.
The big oval bead will be a flowers vase, the big metal botton like a tray and the ather two for a lamp.
Have you seen the change? From a bedroom to a little, nice living room.


Bene, ora non mi resta che continuare il mio lavoretto, ma soprattutto devo trovare una foto della mia amica con il suo fidanzato da mettere in cornice.
A proposito, qualcuno ha qualche idea per fare un portafoto da appoggio che sia non troppo classico e che si intoni con questa stanza????

IL BORATORIO TORNA IN ATTIVITA'!!!!

Finalmente il boratorio torna in attività!!!

Da qualche giorno infatti mi sono rimessa in moto e sto lavorando ad un progetto di una piccola roombox per il matrimonio di un'amica che ci sarà a Settembre...non dico di più perchè deve essere una sorpresa...

Così, con l'aiuto di Paka, il mio splendido assistente e donatore generoso di peli, ho preso carta, penna, legno e seghetto ed ho iniziato a buttare giù progetti di parquet, tagliato e decorato pareti..
The boratorio finally returns in activity!!!!!!


Few days ago in fact I have started again in motion and I'm working to a new project of a small roombox for the marriage of a friend that will be in September. Idon't say more because it must be a surprise...
So, with the help of Paka, my wonderfull assistant and generous donor of hair, I have taken paper, pen, pensil, wood and I have begun to study projects of parquets, cut and decorate walls....

Qualche tempo fa avevo notato su un numero della rivista Et Dukkehjem una deliziosa panca, in legno bianco con sopra un grande cuscino a quadretti verdi e bianchi e mi sono decisa a riprodurla. Sono ancora nelle fasi di montaggio ma quando sara finita ve la mostrerò con orgoglio (spero...)

Some mounths ago, on a number of the magazine ET Dukkehjem, I noticed a delicious bench, in white wood with above a big pillw green and white and now I would lke to reproduce it.
In this moment I'm still in the assemblate step but when it will be finished I will show it with pride ( I hope:::)

Questi sono , per il momento, i risultati che vi posso mostrare..... Ok, sono pochetto ma il tempo e' tiranno.

VERSO I CAMINI DELLE FATE....

Cappadocia....

Cari amici, sono veramente felice perchè a ottobre farò finalmente un viaggio come si deve e me ne andrò in Turchia con la mia mamma.

Purtroppo mio marito Stefano non ama volare, anzi ne è terrorizzato, cosi' la mia mamma, che invece è come me in fatto di viaggi e sarebbe sempre in giro, diventa la mia compagna di avventura.

Comunque non posso lamentarmi , visto che il mio maritino rimane a casa e tiene la bimba e trovo che questo lo renda molto apprezzabile.

Il tour che faremo inizia da Antalya, bellissima città di mare, tocca Konya per un giorno per poi iniziare il giro in Cappadocia: seguendo la via della seta si andrà nella Valle di Goreme, la città sotterranea di Kaymakli, Uchisar per poi tornare sulla costa ad Antalya e poi a Perge.

HUMMMM, non vedo l'ora di partire..... anche se manca ancora molto e in mezzo, per fortuna ci sono anche le ferie estive.

Cappadocia: i camini delle fate.

TRAVEL IN TURKEY

Dear friends I'm really happy because last October I'll travel as it should be and I'm going to Turkey with my mother.

Unfortunately Stefano, my husband, doesn't like flying, so my mother, who is like me when it comes to travel and would always be around, becomes my company of this adventure.

However I can't complain, because my sweet husband stay at home with my little girl.

The tour started from Antalya, a beautiful seaside city, Konya for a day and then start to Cappadocia: following the Silk Road we will be in Goreme Valley, the underground city of Kaymakli, Uchisar and then return to the coast to Antalya and then in Perge.

Hummm, I can't wait to leave...but fortunately in the middle there are also summer holidays.

NON CI POSSO CREDERE!!!

Non posso crederci...ho vinto il primo premio del concorso di arti varie che si teneva oggi nel mio quartiere.

In concorso c'erano vari oggetti molto carini, che spaziavano dallo scrap al decoupage, dalla creazione di gioielli alle tegole decorate. L'unica miniatura era la mia e devo ammettere che ha riscosso un bel successo.

In premio ho ricevuto una bella valigetta ( molto utile per gli incontri domenicali con le altre amiche miniaturiste) con dentro tanto bel materiale per lanciarmi nello scrap e nel country painting...oltre a varie cosette che sicuramente userò per le mie miniature.

Posterò poi le foto della premiazione e colgo l'occasione per ringraziare tantissimo le due ragazze titolari del negozio "MANI DI FATA" che sono dolcissime e gentilissime.Grazie grazie!!!

In questo negozio, che svolge quasi quotidianamente corsi di ogni tipo, mi sono dilettata anche nella realizzazione di una cornice con la tecnica del country painting e vi assicuro che è molto soddisfacente...ho imparato a sfumare e creare effetti chiaro/scuro con un particolare gel mischiato ai colori acrilici e questo sicuramente sarà utile nelle mini.

Posterò nei prossimi giorni anche la foto della cornice fatta...carinissima!!!

In ultimo desidero dare il benvenuto a due nuovi lettori:

I can't believe it...today I won the first award in a competition about various arts. There ware several very nice items, wich ranged from scrap to decoupage, creation of jewels to decorate tiles. Mine was the only mini and I must admit that was a great success!!!!

In premium, I recived a beautiful handbag ( very useful for the sunday meetings with other friend who make minis), with a lot of nice materials inside to test scrap and country painting, well as several things useful for minis.

I'll show photos of the award and I take this opprtunity to thank the two girls of the shop "MANI DI FATA" for their sweetness and kindness.

In this shop, wich carries almost daily courses of all kind, I tried to make a frame with the technique of country p. and assure you that it's very satisfying. I have learned how to create blur effects and light/dark with a particular gel mixed with acrilic colors and this will be useful for minis.

I'll show you also the photo of this frame...very nice!!
