QUILT

All'ultima edizione di Miniaturitalia ho comprato, da Margaret Lew, un kit per fare un mini quilt, dicendomi che prima o poi mi sarei lanciata in questa avventura.

Dopo mesi lo mostro a mia madre, un genio nel cucito, per avere qualche consiglio e....ecco il quilt fatto...ma da lei!!

Io le ho solo indicato la sequenza delle varie fantasie e lei ci ha messo pazienza e maestria.

Peccato che sia per un lettino da bimbi, quelli a gabbietta per intenderci, mentre a me sarebbe piaciuto per un matrimoniale, ma mia madre è stata categorica: E' il primo e l'ultimo!

Peccato...chissà se riuscirò a convincerla a farne un altro??

At the last edition of Miniaturitalia I bought, from Margaret Lew, a kit to make a quilt , saying that one day I would have embarked on this adventure.

After a couple of months I show it to my mother, a great genius about sewing, to have some advice and...here it is!!!! A beautiful quilt made by my mother.

I have only show the sequence o f different patterns and, the rest is only her work.

It's a pity that it's a quilt for a baby bed...I wanted one for a double bed but my mother say: It's the first and the last one!!

Sigh!...but I'll try to persuade her to make another one...
